Support Printing of the US Eid Stamp
On September 3, 2009, in Washington, DC, the Postal Service re-issued a 44-cent, Eid special stamp, designed/calligraphed by Mohamed Zakariya of Arlington, Virginia.

This stamp was first issued in 2001 with a 34-cent denomination, and with the same design, a 37-cent denomination in 2002, 39-cent denomination in 2006, 41-cent denomination in 2007, and 42-cent denomination in 2008. Please purchase this stamp to prevent it from going out of circulation. It can be purchased here:

Muslim Day at the Capitol
Muslim Day at the Capitol (MDAC) is an all-day event where American Muslims have the chance to meet with legislators and advocate on issues impacting the community. The event is the perfect platform to voice your concerns to your lawmakers, learn advocacy skills, and represent the American Muslim community. This year, MDAC is taking place on Monday, April 24th.

You'll have the opportunity to:

* Develop valuable leadership and advocacy skills
* Engage with your lawmakers on issues impacting the community
* Gain a greater understanding of the inner workings of local and state government
